Jumpy asked: I would like to chance Australian dollars into Japanese yen. I’m in Melbourne right now and I’m thinking I will get better rates if I exchange here than in Japan. In general do banks give better rates in Australia?

Enna asked: I would like to know if there’s a website out there where you convert other currency amounts into US exchange…for example if I wanted to order something from overseas or canada, but wanted to know exactly how much I’d be spending before ordering.

me asked: Where can I find historical foreign currency exchange rates in GRAPH form (i.e. as curves, not tables), not limited to just a few months, but for at least 8-10 years (preferrably all time)?
SDD, thanks, but it has only tables, no graphs?
Thanks, Jurij-EU!

truelori asked: I heard the best place to exchange currency is a bank. We took our Swiss Francs to HSBC where we have an account and got a terrible exchange rate! I’m trying to find somewhere else where we could take our cash and get a decent rate. Any suggestions on where to go or how to find a place (yes, I’ve already done a whole bunch of Google searches)
Thanks for any info you can provide!
