best place to exchange foreign currency to dollars in the USA?
ogrebattle asked:
I recently came back from work in Europe (I live in Indiana). I have a large amount of Euros, and need to exchange them to US dollars. The current actual rate today is $1.29 to 1 Euro. Every bank/airport currency exchange I have called has given me horrible rates from $1.14 - $1.17 to 1 Euro. How is it that they are taking 15%?!? Is there a place to exchange money that doesn’t take such a huge percentage of the money?
