yasir k asked: I’m on the Nationwide Building Society website and when I search for informatin to do with currency exchange, all I can find is information about travel money and they state the total amount of money they can transfer is 2,000 GBP. The Post Office can also only exchange something like 3,000 I believe. I need to transfer a larger sum, 25,000 GBP into Pakistani Rupees. Where Can I go to get this done, and in the future if I need to exchange a large amount of Rupees back into British Pounds, can this be done in the same place? Information needed as much as you can provide. Much appreciated in avance. Thank you.
Thanks for the answers so far. Do you know which exchange rate they would use, their own or the actual rate? And would i receive the rate depending on the time I place the order or would it be determined on what the rate is at the time they deliver the money to the bank?
I understand there is a buy/sell rate when talking about currency exchange; is this so?

carolinakres asked: Im interested in purchasing more stock. I have never purchased stock on a foreign stock market. Alibaba is a company that has opened an IPO recently, however, it is on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. What procedures are taken when purchasing internationally. Does the currency rate calculated before purchase or will the dollar amount be reflected during purchase? Im confused and need someones expertise.

shadowsjc asked: I am completely new to the world of trading stocks or currency, but I want to get started. I see ads for all these different websites (ameritrade, etrade, etc.), and I was wondering, which (if any) would be the best for a beginner? I’m not looking to get rich quick, but I would like to start investing my money for the long term.
Also, which if any of these sites offers a way to trade currencies? Ideally, I would become a member of the site with the best combination of both of these (trading stocks and currency).
Thanks

I am going to be 18 in 26 days and I want to become a millionaire quickly by trading either stocks or forex. I want to know in your opinion which of them would make the best vehicle to trade to make the easiest, quickest path to wealth? Also, when I say easy, I don’t mean that it would be easy to do, but easy in terms of currencies and stocks to choose from and the least complicated to research out of the two. Good, reasonable answers would be much appreciated. Thanks!
