currency exchange?

i’ve got some lats (lat is the latvian currency). none of the banks at my place in india are ready to exchange them, the sum is considerable, i mayn’t go to latvia again. how can i get it xchanged?

    Go to the international air port. They may exchange it there. So why did you bring home so much extra money. A wizard should know better. paducah_billy

    Nobody in India will take these currency. You can check with any international bank that has correspondent facilities in Latvia, whether they are willing to do an exchange for you. papars

    Best is to give it to a friend in who works in Europe. He can get it changed to a more accepted currency like USD or EURO. I am in Norway and I convert the amount to INR when I send it to India from Norway thru my bank here.
