If they are not using the Euro, then you will have to switch before or when you get there. There is a currency exchange programme on the Internet, but I recently had to replace my hard drive and have lost the website. Try a search on currency exchange. St N

you get about 7,5 danish kroner for 1 euro a bit more in swedish kroner
i would advise changing some of the money back home, because (regardless of what is says in the window) they all take a fee in all exchange offices and banks in denmark. i don’t know what the situation is in sweden.
you can also use a creditcard just about anywhere - it’s not very smart to have a lot of money in cahs with you - you never know what might happen. Deni

1 € = approx. 7.45 danish kroner / 9.25 swedish kroner. So 5000 € would be about 37,250 dkr / 46,250 skr.
Might be a good idea to have a little cash at least just for any unforeseen situation, but otherwise I’d use my creditcard mainly, both so you wouldn’t have to carry around too much cash, but also because it’s usually cheaper to use. If you use it in shops, you generally don’t pay a fee. Be careful however, if you use it in a teller machine to get cash, then there will be a fee. Hope you have a good trip. Maria

The swedish krs is slightly lower than the danish krs.For 100euro’s u would get around 930sek and about 745dkk.best u not change it all unless u plan to spend it all..lol..Thats a LOT of money to bring to Sweden & Denmark. If u want to bring that much, its better u keep some “hidden” cash here & there.Best u have ur $$ in a zipper inside ur bag or even better velcro. There was once, that we went shopping in Stroget, a gal tried to pickpocket us in a shoe shop! Lucky for her ( my gf ) her bag was locked wid velcro, when the pickpocket tried to open her bag, we heard it & shouted but the culprit managed to run away fast enuf.Avoid sling bags, carry a bag that sits under ure arm, close to u.Be safe & have fun! thor_gare
