How does currency exchange work?
nicolekorea asked:
I am living in Korea, and soon I will go back to Canada. I am wondering where and when I should change my money for the best rate - here or in Canada? Also, I will travel to Thailand for a month and I’m wondering how to get the best bang for my buck, so to speak. I heard that a person used to be able to get more out of American money when travelling, so I’m wondering if I should exchange my Korean Won, my Canadian dollars or my American dollars for Thailand Baht… Also, would this be better to do in Thailand or Korea… YIKES

Thats too much exchanging. Every time you exchange with such small capital, you loose money. Get a currency that works on those 3 countries and save yourself lots of headaches. Apollo

nicolekorea, I found a website of US foreign currency exchanges. Try calling one of them and see if they have a representative that can help you. Penni R
