how old do you have to be to exchange foreign currency at the bank in New York?
Lulz asked:
My uncle in Europe recently visited me, and when he left he gave me 1000 euros. I want to convert this to USD, but I don’t want my parents to know I have this money because they’ll probably take it away and I’ll never see it again. So, do banks allow 15 year olds to exchange foriegn currency?

Yes, all banks will allow you to. You’ll get between $1400-$1450 Crue-K

I you have an account at the bank in question, they will exchange your money for you.
If you don’t have an account, take a bus to the the airport. They have money changers there that will exchange your euros for dollars. They don’t ask questions.
I feel your pain. My folks controlled every cent they knew I had till I moved out. Good luck.
