Yes it is. But you’ll get better rates if you just use an ATM card to withdraw money in the local currency at your final destination. This is especially good if your bank reimburses you for ATM fees from other banks like mine does. If not, make fewer, larger withdrawals to minimize fees. The exchanges give you lower exchange rates, charge a commission, or both to make their profit. It’s not a good deal. If you really want currency go to a main branch of the bank where you have an account for the best exchange rate. conley39
