Is the currency exchange rate between the american dollar and British pound likely to change?

Hi Guys, I live in the UK.
I am going to america in the summer and I am wondering if it would be worthwhile me buying some dollars now while the exchange rates are still favourable to the pound. Or do you think it would be just as well to wait untill the summer as the ecconomy might be looking brighter for the brits by then?

If I knew the answer to that, I would tell you to invest your money in dollar futures. Nobody knows the answer to that question. SDD
