Is there a place to exchange foreign currency for american money?
MidnightSky asked:
I have some bills and coins from a trip to Thailand and Vancouver, Canada from five years ago. Is there a place in the northwest U.S. area to exchange it to american currency?
is there any added fee to do it, or will it be exchanged at the full current rate?

Most American banks will do it, and at airports, there are usally money changers in the international terminal.
They do charge a commission to do the change. cliffinutah

For Canadian dollar, you should have no trouble exchanging at any branch of any major banks. However with Thailand Baht, you will have much harder time finding the banks that’ll do the exchange for you. The best bet is to go to a local travel agency, which is an authorized dealer of American Express Cheques. It may provide the service you are looking for at a reasonable handling fee. Lastly, I doubt that coins will be exchanged to US money. ReservoirDoggie
