Hi,
Do you know what is the office hour for the currency exchange at the Phuket Airport (HKT)? Where else I can exchange my money to local curreny in Phuket? And their office hours are?
Thanks

Don’t know but if you have an ATM card you can withdraw Thai money 24 hours a day. Bot 23

dont bother with currency exchanges, you will lose too much…
just notify your bank at home your travelling to Thailand, then up your daily withdrawal limit. you will be charged 150 baht for every 20,000 baht you withdraw from ATM machines. but you still get the onshore rate and its better than the booths usually because its the banks rate.
just make sure you check your bank at home and how much they charge for you using your atm abroad. and always take out 20,000 per transaction to save the most. Gorgeous Babe

There will usually be an exchange office open at the Phuket airport whenever flights arrive, even if you arrive at an off-peak hour.
Exchange as much as you need to get to your destination, then change more while in town, at the local banks.
Travelers checques and cash in larger bills will get you a good rate.
ATM machines are available at the airport as well as all over the island.
Be aware that most banks now charge a foriegn currrency conversion fee of 3% when foriegn currency out of an ATM machine. Pauly 101
