Id do it at the airport it depends where your travelling but general its much easier if you have some local currency when you arrive. In most European country’s its safe to just go into any cash converters and convert money. Although I know in the Czech republic its advised only to use banks as a lot of cash converts will rip you off. (That’s from various travel sites and the Czech police. I was there late last year.) Consult a lonely planet guide or Wiki travel about the country your visiting if your worried. vl2150
