keep your $ in the bank, take an ATM card, get your Euro or Taiwan dollars that way. Otherwise, you have to stand in line at banks, pay service fee….what a drag silentnonrev

Get Travelers Checks and exchange a little amount at your local bank before you go. You can exchange the Travelers Checks at the local foreign banks when you get there. dezynor

Most airports have a place to exchange money. Most likely International airports. Also if you have a credit card like visa or mastercard you can just use that because there are no international barriers on them. dmon86

travellers checks are a real PAIN in many places. Exchanging money in the airport is a bad idea…they give you a terrible exchange rate. it is bset to use your ATM card..you get the best rate and do not have to carry large amounts of cash. check wwith the bank your ATM card is from to be sure you can use that card where you are going. Only carry a minimum amount of Cash. Use a Credit Card and
American Express Travelers Checks. You can always cash Travelers Checks at your Hotel -
no need to go to a Bank. fatsausage
