Short answer: DON’T!! Just use an ATM!!

Long explanation: Don’t exchange money if you can avoid it. Call your bank and inform them you’re leaving and they will make sure there’s not a hold on your account so when you get here, you can just withdrawal it from the ATM (at the airport for your first cash, and wherever subsequently). The fees for exchanging at the airport counter can be as high as 20%!! Even in counters in the town, rates are usually at least 10%. Most banks only charge 3% on withdrawals in foreign countries, and a $3 bank fee. Try to always have some cash on you, because many places you might be used to using a card won’t take it. Also, in Western Europe they will almost always ask for an ID so have it on you!! Hope it helps
